After graduating from Mizzou with Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering degrees in 1985, Brian Becker spent a decade on the road as a recording artist performing Christian Rock. In 1990, he signed a recording contract with Benson Music Group of Nashville. Brian produced 5 albums over his career which included several songs hitting the top 40 Christian charts. In 1995, he and several investors started Southeast Missouri's first Internet Service which grew to serve Internet access to over 50 communities throughout the area as SEMO.net. Brian is married to Toni and in 2020 celebrated their 30th anniversary. They have two college-age sons. Since 1989, Brian has been an advisor to David Bivin, Jerusalem Perspective and JerusalemPerspective.com. In 1996, JerusalemPerspective.com began publishing its material on the Internet and Brian has been the webmaster since its inception. From 1999 – 2010, Brian was the Executive Director of the Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research and was co-editor with R. Steven Notley and Marc Turnage of Jerusalem Studies in the Synoptic Gospels – Vol. 1: Jesus’ Last Week.
